SALES SPECIALIST

Job Scope:

We are looking for a talented sales specialist to monitor and analyse our sales department performance and suggest new strategies.

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

You should be able to use statistical analysis software and provide reports on sales and marketing metrics. You will collaborate with the sales team and the marketing department to achieve business goals.

Ultimately, you should be able to improve sales and increase profits.

Key Competencies:

  • Learn the products and services offered, including the sales terms (e.g. special features, return and warranty policies).
  • To be responsible for achieving sales target in assigned territories and to establish a good relationship with clients & expand the client base.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to prepare common strategies (including but not limited to seminars, workshops, training for customers, demonstrations and exhibitions & etc.).
  • Monitor sales numbers and marketing metrics. Prepare sales or business reports (weekly, monthly sales reports, call visit plan and report) for management reviews.
  • Analyse market segments and trends, collate market information and identify new opportunities.
  • Monitor competition and follow current developments.
  • Ensure sales team is up-to-date with business targets.
  • Motivate sales team to achieve great results.
  • Promote new company product/services to existing clients.
  • Find prospective customers and new target segments.
  • Prepare quotations and sales orders as per customers' request.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Required:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor Degree/Professional Certifications in Business Studies, Sales and Marketing, IT/Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a sales consultant.
  • Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply, however, the candidate with experiences in Hospital sales will have added advantages.
  • Excellent communication & selling skills (such as negotiation, persuasion and consultation).
  • Experience in utilising digital/social media platforms for marketing (lead generation).
  • Familiarity with CRM programs.
  • Must possess a high level of self-confident and be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Result driven and self-motivated.
